On Wednesday, the Loulé Council signed program contracts with 18 cultural and recreational associations in the municipality, under which it will distribute 238 euros in support. An amount that is 5% higher than that channeled last year to support the activities carried out by these communities.
Ao Luar Teatro, APALGAR, APROMAR, Social and Cultural Association of Tôr, Satori Artistic Association, Friends of Alentejo Association, Manuel Viegas Guerreiro Foundation, Parragilense Social and Cultural Center, Philharmonic Society of Minerva Artists, Geonauta Association, Association of Friends of Cortelha, Salir Cultural Association, Loulé Group of Friends Association, Loulé Culture House, Barrosas Cultural and Recreational Association, “Os Barões” Association, Akredita em Ti Youth Association and Friends of the S. Sebastião Folklore and Ethnographic Ranch are the supported entities.
The attribution of support “followed fair and objective criteria, depending on the performance of the different communities”, stressed the mayor of Loulé Vítor Aleixo.
"Culture is an area of strategic intervention for the municipality of Loulé, in which we invest very heavily because we understand that it can contribute, with few tools at our disposal, to elevate citizens in their best interests: critical freedom, openness to the world , tolerance, an aesthetic sense of life and the ability to appreciate the beautiful», concluded the mayor from Loulé.
