A workshop, within the scope of the MILAGE project, which wants to «improve the performance of all students» in Mathematics, takes place this Friday, June 2, from 14:00 to 18:30, at the José Silvestre Amphitheater of the Instituto Superior de Engenharia da University of Algarve, on the Penha Campus, in Faro.

The initiative, aimed at Mathematics teachers, will include the participation of Manuel Faria, from Microsoft Portugal, and Sónia Barbosa, ambassador of Future Classroom Lab (FCL), from the Educational Resources and Technologies Team (ERTE) of the Directorate-General for Education.

Next workshop for example, videos with troubleshooting will be presented, e-books and the application MILAGE Learn+, solutions developed during the MILAGE project.

This project even aims to improve the performance of all students in Mathematics: «those who have the worst and best results, extending the learning environment from the traditional classroom to a virtual classroom», says the University of Algarve.

The project “focuses on a mixed learning system (blended learning), which combines face-to-face classes with classes online, thus keeping students motivated to learn mathematics through the motivating exploration of tools supported by information and communication technologies», explains the Algarve Academy.
