Project “Algarve Store & Business Online” wants to help Algarve companies to sell and export

Create a platform, within the digital economy, so that Algarve companies can sell and export their products […]

Creating a platform, within the scope of the digital economy, so that Algarve companies can sell and export their products is the main objective of the “Algarve Store & Business Online” project, promoted by ACRAL – Association of Commerce and Services of the Algarve Region, with the collaboration of local authorities in the region, and which was presented in Albufeira.

O “Algarve Store & Business Online” was approved under the CRESC ALGARVE 2020 Collective Actions Support System – Internationalization, continuing the work developed by the previous “Algarve Positivo” project, namely through the implementation of tools that enable companies in the region to prospect, knowledge and access to new markets and collaborative processes of internationalization, knowledge sharing and capacity building for internationalization.

The project is aimed at companies dedicated to the production, transformation or sale of typical products of the region (almonds, carob, figs, citrus fruits, sweet potatoes, honey, olive oil, sausages, wines, handicrafts, among others).

Adhering companies will benefit, at no cost, from online promotion and sales, in a strategy aggregated by sector of activity, which will result in increased awareness and international visibility of the products/services they produce or sell, with a consequent increase in sales , through the “We Shop Algarve” platform.

In addition to the institutional portal and the so-called "Marketplace", the platform will also have information on restaurants, nightlife, places of interest, commerce, typical articles, tourist entertainment, cultural activities and heritage, improving the brand's promotion and dissemination strategy.
