Jorge Pires, forward, and Ricardo Pessoa, defense and captain, renewed their contract with Portimonense, for two and three seasons, respectively, and will play for the Algarve in the I Liga.
Ricardo Pessoa has had 416 games, more than 50 goals, two promotions to the I League and a title of champion of the II League, achieved this season.
Jorge Pires was the competition's top scorer, with 23 goals in the season. The player who had already celebrated the ascent in 2009/2010 with the colors of Portimonense, returned to the podium again, this time for the celebration of the ascent and the national title.
Both contract renewal ceremonies were attended by Rodiney Sampaio, general director of SAD do Portimonense.
