The Centro Ciência Viva de Tavira (CCVT) will propose an “Astronomical Night” on the 7th of April, from 19 pm, with the theme “Our Universe in Expansion”.
The activity will try to answer questions about the history and age of the universe, about its consistency and shape.
Participants will be able to see constellations, nebulae, planets and galaxies and learn about the origins of our universe.
After a lecture, which will take place at the CCVT, which will have Teresa Drago as guest speaker, visitors will go to Forte do Rato, for a night astronomical observation with a telescope.
Participation in the activity costs two euros for adults and one euro for young people. Children up to 12 years old do not pay. CCVT warns that the event depends on weather conditions.
