Portimonense went to Vizela to lose 2-1, this Sunday, April 2nd. The Algarvians played with one player less from the 18th minute onwards, when they were already winning 1-0, but managed to hold the advantage until the final minutes, despite the home team having benefited from a penalty.
Portimonense took the lead in the 16th minute, through Fabrício, and seemed to be launching themselves for another good result. But, just two minutes later, the referee signaled a penalty and sent off Ivo Nicolau, leaving the Algarve to play with ten. In converting the maximum punishment, Elizio failed and the result did not change.
Even at a numerical disadvantage, Portimonense did not stop looking for the second goal, with Vizela also making a living. And the home team ended up being able to draw, at 81 minutes, by Filipe Abreu. On minute 86, Filipe Abreu scored twice and sealed the defeat for the Portimão team.
