Applications for the 3rd edition of the Espírito Empreendedor Award, promoted by the Municipality of Odemira, are open until the end of April.
This award aims, according to the Alentejo municipality, “to stimulate and recognize entrepreneurial and creative initiatives within the scope of the economic development of the municipality”.
The Entrepreneurial Spirit Award also aims to "enhance public recognition, dignity, appreciation and prestige of business activity and, at the same time, create an important award in strengthening self-confidence, self-esteem and motivation for new projects and new challenges" .
Young people aged 18 to 35 can participate in the award, with proposals for entrepreneurial and creative ideas and new business initiatives, from businesses based in the municipality of Odemira, established less than three years ago.
Prizes will be awarded to the best entrepreneurial and creative idea and to the three best classified among the applications for new business initiatives.
The best entrepreneurial and creative idea will be awarded two thousand euros, a trophy, a diploma and the possibility of direct access to the Nest of Companies in Odemira.
In the category of new business initiatives, three projects will be awarded. The first place, in addition to the trophy and the diploma, will receive 1500 euros, the second 1000 euros and the third 500 euros.
Applications must be submitted by filling out a form available at the Entrepreneur Support Office, at Balcão Único and at website of the Municipality.
The initiative is part of Odemira Empreende – Municipal Entrepreneurship and Employment Program.
