The Lidl do Parchal (Lagoa) reopened renovated this Thursday. The store now has a glass façade, more space between aisles and new services.
The opening ceremony of the «new generation of Lidl stores» was attended by Francisco Martins, Mayor of Lagoa.
According to the supermarket brand, «the store now has a sales area of about 1.400 square meters, a higher ceiling height and a fully glazed façade, which allows natural light to visitors and those working in the store».
In addition, «the corridors were widened to improve their functionality, and new convenience services were implemented for the customer, namely the cafeteria and the self-service bakery, which has a self-service bread cutting machine».
New staff rooms and a training room were also created for the store's 28 workers, seven of whom are new hires.
The new Lidl store in Parchal, Lagoa, located on Rua Foz do Arade, has parking for 168 vehicles, 80 with shaders, and three for caravans, and is open between 8:30 am and 21:30 pm.
