Praia da Rocha will host, on April 22, one of the three regional workshops promoted by the Instituto de Socorros a Náufragos (ISN), aimed at lifeguards and surfers.
The objective of the workshops, which have the support of Lidl, is to prepare for the bathing season and beyond, with skills in terms of assistance to bathers, rescue techniques with boats and surfboards and basic life support, among others.

Each event will take place from 10:00 am to 17:00 pm, with participants having the opportunity to participate in the modules: Evacuation of victims on a 4×4 motorcycle, Rescue with a personal watercraft, Rescue with a small boat, Improvement of rescue techniques with a board, Improvement of Basic Life Support maneuvers and Lecture with Skin Cancer Screening.
Participants must wear a wetsuit and suitable equipment for the actions. At the end you will receive a certificate of participation.
In addition to Praia da Rocha (April 22), there will also be two other workshops, in Carcavelos (April 29) and Matosinhos (May 6).
