The concert “Accordeão d'Alma”, about the unique and differentiating soul existing in the Algarve around the accordion, will be presented on May 6th, at 21 pm, at the Cine-Teatro Louletano, and on May 30th, at 7 pm , in the Auditorium of the Municipal Library of Castro Marim, with the presence of world champions.
On stage there will be a panel in the form of a get-together, composed of five speakers, moderated by a journalist, where “a historical framework of the instrument” will also be made, says Mito Algarvio – Association of Accordionists of the Algarve.
The moments of get-together will be interspersed with musical moments by renowned world-class accordionists: Duo Paris Moscow (composed by world champions Domi Emorine and Roman Jbanov), João Frade (world champion), João Filipe Guerreiro (world vice-champion ), Nelson Conceição, Emanuel Marçal and Anabela Silva.
This initiative is part of the commemorations of the World Accordion Day (May 6, the date on which the accordion patent was presented) celebrated throughout the world during the month of May.
“Acordeão d'Alma” is a project of Mito Algarvio – Association of Accordionists of the Algarve “official members of the “Confédération Internationale des Accordéonistes Member of the International Music Council, an official NGO partner of UNESCO” and supported by 365 Algarve and by the Municipalities of Loulé and Castro Marim.
