Hugo Alves and João Frade will take “Morphosis”, an “unlikely trumpet and accordion duet”, on the stage of Cineteatro São Brás, this Friday, the 3rd, at 21 pm.
According to the City Council of São Brás de Alportel, «“Morphosis” gives wings to improvisation on themes written thinking about the potential of the trumpet and the accordion. A duet that proposes to explore original themes, but which started by exploring some standards Americans, thus achieving a balance that unites these two less likely instruments».
“Morphosis” «does not move by a single language, but by all those that make up the two musicians, products of their fantastic paths. On stage, Hugo Alves, one of the best national trumpet players, and João Frade, an accordion wizard, come together on stage, who together explore tradition in the light of modernity», adds the local authority.
The show is free and integrates the “365 Algarve” program.
