AHP promotes session on support to tourist developments in Vilamoura

The Hotel Association of Portugal (AHP) will promote the session «Financial Support for the Remodeling of Tourism Enterprises and Other Stimuli for Tourism Development in the Algarve», on February 8, at 14 pm, at the Hotel Tivoli Marina Vilamoura.

The session will present the support available to entrepreneurs, namely the Support Line for Qualifying the Offer, managed by Turismo de Portugal, which «is the main credit instrument for financing the requalification of tourist enterprises, in the sense of position and assert them in higher value-added segments,” according to AHP.

During the session, Carlos Abade, member of the Portuguese Tourism Board, will address other issues that "the Algarve's tourism affirmation" is going through, namely improving accessibility, stimulating events and investing in the destination's marketing. Raul Martins, president of the Hotel Association of Portugal, will also take part in the initiative.

«The theme of this session is of vital importance for tourism entrepreneurs in the Algarve, taking into account the restrictions of this region within the scope of the Portugal 2020 Programme», concluded the association.
