Registration for the 2nd edition of the “365 Algarve” program, which aims to complement the traditional offer of the tourist destination with a cultural program, during the low season, opens on February 6th and will last until March 31st.

The regulation of this initiative clarifies that «the guidelines for the construction of the programme, based on the applications submitted, will take into account that the 365 Algarve is defined based on cohesion and territorial distribution, on thematic and artistic diversity and on the monthly distribution of proposals so that we have a consistent, coherent and cohesive program over the eight months».

The objectives of the program are also «well defined», in the opinion of the Algarve Tourism Region (RTA). This is because, in addition to wanting to «strengthen the cultural programming in the mid and low seasons», it is also the objective of “365 Algarve” «to enhance the cultural identity and artistic creation of the region and also to establish partnerships and root dynamics of articulation between the agents of the tourism, culture and territory and give life to the region all year round».

Music, opera, dance, performance, theater, cinema, new circus, literature, visual arts, heritage entertainment are the artistic and thematic areas covered by “365 Algarve”, whose regulation also provides for disciplinary crossings, combining music and gastronomy, visual arts and gastronomy or theater and gastronomy, among others.

Both the regulation and the registration form are available. here, and an email box ([email protected]) was created to answer questions and request additional information.

The supported support is carried out exclusively from the financing via RegFin of Turismo de Portugal, executed by RTA.
