The initiative aims to “bring for discussion several current issues, which will rely on the knowledge of researchers from this research center to solve problems and collaborate with institutions and companies, thus strengthening the blue economy”, explains UAlg.

This session will be attended by Miguel Miranda, from the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA), António Pascoal, from Institute for Systems and Robotics (ISR), Tiago Rebelo, of the Center of Engineering and Product Development (CEIIA), Nélia Mestre, from CIMA, and Cristina Veiga Pires, professor and researcher at CIMA and representative of ECORD Science Support and Advisory Committee (ESSAC).

The cycle of seminars constitutes a « tank for new ideas, approaches and opportunities for collaboration with society», adds the University of Algarve.
