Shakhtar Donestk, RB Leipzig and Ajax are some of the teams that, during the winter break in their football championships, will train (and play) in the Algarve during the months of January and February.
Ajax will play two matches next Saturday, at Estádio da Nora, in Ferreiras. At 12:30, there is a duel between Dutch teams, as the opponent is Excelsior. At 15:30, RB Leipzig from Germany, sensation team of the Bundesliga, will measure forces with the team from Amsterdam.
Between January 31st and February 7th, the Atlantic Cup 2017 will be played which, in addition to Shakhtar, will have seven other teams, one of which has not yet been announced. Aalborg and Aarhus, from Denmark, Djurgardens and Orebro, from Sweden, Rijeka, from Croatia, and FK Jablonec, from the Czech Republic, are the confirmed teams.
The group stage of the tournament will take place at the Estádio da Bela Vista, in Parchal, between January 31st and February 4th, and on February 6th and 7th the competition “moves” to the Estádio Algarve, where The four awarding matches from 1st to 8th places will be played. The final is scheduled for 19:45.
