A gillnet about 200 meters long and 5 meters high, placed in a prohibited zone, in the surf and without the signs provided for by law, was seized on Friday, in Meia Praia, in Lagos, by the Maritime Police.
This coastal inspection action was promoted by the local Command of the Maritime Police, aimed at fight illegal activities. The net was collected by the Maritime Authority.
