Applications are now open for the 2nd edition of the Espírito Empreendedor Award, promoted by the Municipality of Odemira, which aims to stimulate and recognize entrepreneurial and creative initiatives in the context of the municipality's economic development.
The award is part of Odemira Empreende – Municipal Entrepreneurship and Employment Program.
The Espírito Empreendedor Award aims to enhance public recognition, dignity, appreciation and prestige of business activity, and at the same time contribute to strengthening self-confidence, self-esteem and motivation for new projects and new challenges.
All young people, aged between 18 and 35, can participate with proposals for entrepreneurial and creative ideas, as well as new business initiatives based in the municipality of Odemira, created less than three years ago.
Prizes will be awarded to the best entrepreneurial and creative idea and to the three best classified among the applications for new business initiatives.
The best entrepreneurial and creative idea will be awarded a trophy, diploma, the financial value of 2.000 euros, as well as the possibility of direct access to the Nest of Companies of Odemira (conditioned on the maturity of the idea, the existence of a promoter to implement the initiative and immediate availability of facilities).
New business initiatives will be awarded with a trophy, a diploma and financial amounts of 1.500 euros for the 1st place, 1.000 euros for the 2nd place and 500 euros for the 3rd.
Applications for the 2nd edition of the Espírito Empreendedor Award run until the 31st of March and must be submitted by filling out the appropriate form, available at the Entrepreneur Support Office, at Balcão Único and on the municipality's website.
