“O Dia De…” and a Forum Theater workshop will take the stage at Fissul, in Silves, on the 25th and 26th of November, respectively. The play “O Dia De…” is scheduled for 21:30 pm on Saturday, while the theater workshop takes place between 10:00 am and 13:00 pm and between 14:00 pm and 17:00 pm on Sunday.
“O Dia De…” is the most recent Forum Theater production of the Teatro do Oprimido Pedra no Sapato and, according to Câmara de Silves, “seeks to dialogue with the public and encourage them to present their proposals to change the situation pictured'.
The story 'starts from the obligation of celebrating festive days in schools (such as Mother's and Father's Day, Christmas and Halloween), thus putting current family and social contexts into debate. the tradition/religion».
On the following day, Ana Baião, member of Grupo Pedra no Sapato, will lead a Forum Theater workshop, which will include «a brief theoretical approach and a practical component full of theatrical games and exploration of aesthetic language: word, sound and image», reveals the municipality of Silva.
The workshop is open to all interested parties, and participation in the actions is made through a free donation.
The initiatives have the support of the Municipality of Silves and are part of the cycle of receptions of shows Noites al Teatro, promoted by the company Al Teatro.
