It will be a weekend entirely dedicated to gastronomy made using oranges, to «highlight the unique and recognized quality characteristics of oranges and other citrus fruits produced in the municipality of Silves, namely for the sweetness, quantity of juice and delicacy of exceptional aromas». stresses the municipality.
There are 18 participating restaurants, located in the city of Silves, and offering the most varied dishes, from meat or fish to sweets, all made with the municipality's king fruit: orange.
The initiative is part of the municipality's strategy to promote the “Silves, Capital da Orange” brand, launched last April and which has been implemented, seeking to give greater visibility to the orange product, emblematic of this municipality and its producers .
