OlhanenseOlhanense beat Académico de Viseu by 1-0, in their trip to Beira Interior this Sunday, and secured their 1st victory in the 2016/17 edition of the II Liga, when 14 rounds have already been played.

The psychological whipping is, for now, working, with four points amassed in the last two games, those in which the team was guided by Bruno Baltazar, when Olhanense had so far only amassed one point and had 11 defeats in 12 games.

Olhanense took the lead after 9 minutes, by Doudou Mangni, which may have helped to give the team another confidence. From then on until the end of the first part, the game was divided, with both teams creating opportunities, although none of them really dangerous.

Shortly after starting the second half, the referee showed a direct red card to Saná Camará, from Viseu, who began to have even more difficulties to seek a draw. Olhanense, in turn, knew how to manage the result and guarantee a moralizing victory, which had eluded them for a long time.

This result does not take the team from Olhão from the bottom of the table, but it already brings them closer to their more direct opponents. The Algarve now has 5 points, four less than the second-to-last, Freamunde.
