Sheet-6272The Algarve Tourism Region (RTA) will be present at the 3rd edition of Expo Abreu – Winter Travel Market, which takes place next weekend, from 22 to 23 October, in pavilion 2 of the Lisbon International Fair (FIL ).

The Algarve will have a stand and a magazine dedicated to the region, also hosting the Algarve Wine Route, to publicize the route, its cellars and offer the region's wines to the public and tour operators present at the event.

The RTA intends, in effect, «to promote the destination and the offers of the region, with the objective of increasing sales for the low season, seeking to attenuate the seasonality of tourist demand in the Algarve.».

«Our presence at fairs is strategic for us, as it allows us to boost the business in the low season of Algarve tourism, promote the destination and boost direct sales to the public», says the president of RTA Desidério Silva.

stand of the RTA will have 36 m2, centrally located, with a total exhibition area of ​​Expo Abreu of 5.000 m2. The event will also have a playful space for entertainment, points of sale, to which are added the stores opened throughout the weekend, and around 250 participants as exhibitors.

The event will be publicized through 200 thousand flyers, advertising in muppies, rear of buses, flashes metro, and also through the national and specialized press and social networks. In addition to these means and the Expo Abreu Magazine there will still be a brochure Algarve Special with exclusive proposals.

Expo Abreu is open on the 22nd, from 11:00 am to 20:00 pm, and on Sunday, the 23rd, from 11:00 am to 18:00 pm. Admission is free.
