The Ministry of Internal Administration (MAI) has already paid the damages caused by the floods in Albufeira that occurred in November last year, the MAI reported today. The amount paid was c.about 135 thousand euros referring to applications submitted to the Emergency Account of the MAI.
179 applications were submitted, 78 of which were forwarded to credit lines created in the meantime to support the trade, services and tourism sectors.
The remaining applications were analyzed by the Coordination and Control Structure, within the scope of the Emergency Account of MAI. A total of 48 applications were considered eligible, representing an effective support in the amount of 135.089,77 euros.
Validated applications cover repair and reconstruction of permanent home ownership, lost or damaged goods and equipment, lost vehicles and contents of affected stores
