It was a true sea of ​​roses that invaded, this morning, the riverside area of ​​Portimão, for another edition of Mamamaratona, andsport wind of a social nature to raise awareness of breast cancer.

Even Naide Gomes, world and European long heel champion, wore the hot pink shirt from the Algarve Oncological Association initiative.

Altogether, around 8 people from all over the Algarve participated in the three stages of the Mamamarathon – March/Run (10 km), Mini Marathon (21 km) and Half Marathon (4000 km) – around XNUMX people.

In addition to Naide Gomes, other names in athletics participated, such as the duo from Toulouse (France), Geraldo Tengarrinha (blind athlete) and Catherine Chong, the Dutch Olympic athlete Elly van Hulst, or salgarvios Ezequiel Canário and Carlos Cabral.
