The Intermarché of São Bartolomeu de Messines, in the municipality of Silves, opened to the public today. According to Grupo Mosqueteiros, which owns the brand, this new store allowed the creation of 25 new jobs.
Among the store's valences are the fishmonger, take-away service, cafeteria, bar and parking.
According to Grupo Mosqueteiros, «this new store also has the new image/store environment that the brand defined in its expansion plan, which highlights the areas of Garrafeira, Beauty and Pet Food».
«The new store in São Bartolomeu de Messines will allow customers a new shopping experience, as they will have access to products from Intermarché's exclusive brands, as well as a wide variety of fresh products, a banner of the brand for ever», he says. The official adds that "in the year that Intermarché celebrates 25 years of presence in Portugal, we are underlining and reiterating the commitment to the national market through the opening of more stores".
The opening of the store in São Bartolomeu de Messines, which is the 242nd of the group, is part of the brand's 2015-2020 expansion plan, which foresees the opening of 63 stores by 2020 and an investment of 200 million euros. The objective of this plan is to reach 2020 with a fleet of 294 stores.
