The book «A Musa/La Musa», which is the latest work by Fernando Pessanha, will be presented on the 21st of October, at 18:00, at the Library of Faro Antonio Ramos Rosa.
The publisher of the book is CanalSonora. According to editor Pedro Jubilot, this work is «a tale that tells the story of a poet obsessed with his inspiring muse»?.
The publication will have a bilingual edition, in Portuguese and Spanish, given the interest of the Spanish public in the work of Fernando Pessanha who, in recent years, has presented several of his works in the neighboring country, as a historian, composer or fiction writer.
The translation into Castilian is by the Spanish poet Uberto Stabile, from Punta Umbría, and the photographs are by Francisco Carvalho, from Porto, modeled by Isabel Bartolomeu, also from the undefeated city..
According to the author, Fernando Pessanha, this book will result in a work “that will unite the south and north of Portugal with neighboring Spain, an authentic triangle of collaboration that will certainly contribute to strengthening the cultural ties between different regions and countries”.
