This training is part of the «Update in…» initiative and aims to «transmit specific technical knowledge about these pathologies that are one of the main causes of disease in the world and therefore represent a growing concern at a global level», says Centro Hospitalar do Algarve.

«With 10 years of training in «Update in…», the Internal Medicine Research Nucleus of the Portimão Unit intends, with these actions, to discuss the approach to medical pathologies, which, due to their prevalence or severity, are fundamental elements of practice with the aim of updating and standardizing diagnostic and therapeutic strategies based on current scientific evidence», adds CHAlgarve.

Participation in the training is free and is open to all hospital clinicians, as well as General and Family Medicine doctors.
