NASA's Aqua and Terra satellites yesterday captured images of the Iberian Peninsula where the column of smoke caused by the fire that broke out this Wednesday and which is still active in the municipalities of Monchique and Portimão is visible. On land, the smoke column is also visible from a great distance.

In the images captured by the Aqua satellite, it is even possible to identify the two fronts that were active yesterday.
