New micro and small businesses in the Algarve can also access the Vale Incubation measure, created under the national strategy for entrepreneurship, called StartUP Portugal.
The Vale Incubation measure aims to boost entrepreneurial capacity and foster conditions for the acceleration and success of new companies, supporting business development by contracting Incubation services.
This measure is intended for projects of new companies (micro and small companies), generated by an entrepreneur or a team of entrepreneurs, in activities related to creative and cultural industries, and/or sectors with greater intensity of technology and knowledge and added value .
The specific objective of this competition is to provide support for simplified projects of companies with less than 1 year in the area of entrepreneurship, through the contracting of incubation services provided by business incubators accredited by Portugal 2020.
CRESC Algarve 2020 (Algarve Operational Program) has a financial allocation of 500 thousand euros for this competition, which is open until 30 December.
The incentives to be granted within the scope of this notice are calculated by applying a maximum rate of 75% to expenses considered eligible, with a maximum limit of 5 thousand euros of non-refundable incentive.
