Three Portuguese who were traveling on a personal watercraft were injured yesterday afternoon when they were collided by a maritime tourist boat at the entrance to the Portimão bar, having been rescued by Ferragudo's lifeguard and by a Maritime Police (PM) boat .
After receiving the alert at 16:10 pm, in an operation coordinated by the Captain of the Port of Portimão, the relief vessels were immediately sent to the site, which arrived at the victims 10 minutes later.
The lifeguard evacuated the three injured, an adult and two young people aged 15 and 18, to the Marina de Portimão.
At the Marina, three ambulances were waiting, two from INEM and one from the Fire Department of Portimão, and an emergency motorcycle from INEM. The wounded were evacuated to the Barlavento Algarvio Hospital Center at 17 pm.
