Tavira's firefighters have 60 new individual protection equipment to fight forest fires, purchased by the City Council, in the amount of 14 thousand euros.
According to the municipality, «this acquisition pallows this corporation to be better equipped to exercise this noble function, reinforcing the safety of the operational in front of fire».
The personal protection equipment purchased consists of a dolman (coat) and trousers, which comply with European certification standards and technical sheet nº 10 of the National Civil Protection Authority.
