Ethnicart_MarketThe Marginal Avenue of Monte Gordo between the 18th and 21st of August, receives the third edition of Etniarte – Mercado Etnico & Músicas do Mundo.

With free entry, the event promotes and promotes traditional popular manifestations such as handicrafts, gastronomy and, in particular, world music.

Over 4 days, and always at 22 pm, the tourist village of Monte Gordo will host musical shows featuring artists from countries such as Angola (Zé Manel Martins Trio), England (Daniel Kemish) or Brazil/Spain (Marta Santamaria Quartet). Portuguese music will be represented by the voice of the Argentine fado singer.

With regard to handicrafts, fifty artisans from countries such as Brazil, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Tunisia, Morocco and Algeria will be present.

Through this sharing, Etniarte assumes itself as an event where merchants from various cultures and religions live in harmony and show the public their arts and traditions.

Etniarte can be visited between 17:00 and 24:00 and is a joint organization of the Municipality of Vila Real de Santo António and Ibérica – Events and Shows.
