The Chamber of Olhão was one of the entities that sponsored Ana Cabecinha's participation in the JO, having allocated a financial support of 7500 euros for the athlete's preparation. This amount contributed “to the realization of internships at altitude (in Spain) and to the participation in international competitions (Challenge Internacional de Marche of the IAAF – International Association of Athletics Federations)”.
