More than eight dozen riders are in the paddock of the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve to face what will be the sixth race of the FIM CEV 2016.

In a four-day program, the first started today at 9 am and is reserved for free training for all categories involved in what is considered the main championship for all who wish to enter the elitist paddock of the MotoGP World Championship. The day will only end at 17 pm.

Among the list of participants in the race, the most complete is the Junior Moto3 world championship, with a total of 36 riders.

The peloton has riders from more than a dozen countries, from Japan to Mexico, in a true global list of entries.

In Moto2, with a European nature in this championship, there are 28 riders present, with the European Superbike having a total of two dozen entries.

Among all those present are two Portuguese riders, Tiago Magalhães and Ivo Lopes, who are respectively in the Superbike and Superstock 600 classes (this is part of the Moto2), with Ivo Lopes being the category leader on arrival in Portimão, with Tiago Magalhães in fifth rank, among the private Superbike riders.

They will be the only two Portuguese on track over the weekend. After this first contact with the more than 4.000 meters of the circuit, the riders will face from tomorrow the usual program of a weekend of races for this FIM CEV.

Tickets for the race cost five euros for access to the paddock (The stands have free access throughout the event), and Repsol service stations (championship sponsor) located in the Algarve are offering tickets to their customers or those who visit them over the weekend .
