According to the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA), the descent will be in the order of 3 to 6ºC, particularly on the coast and in the interior regions to the south of the Montejunto-Estrela mountain system, which will extend to the other regions on Sunday, the 31st of July.

On Sunday, adds the IPMA, there will also be a drop of 4 to 6ºC in the minimum temperature, and on August 1st, temperatures should remain "relatively mild".

The IPMA also predicts “low cloudiness and possibly fog or fog, especially on the coast, which may persist in some parts of the coastal strip, particularly at weekends”.
