Some areas of the municipality of Olhão may be without water supply, between 23:00 today, Thursday, and 8:00 tomorrow, due to an intervention that the municipal company Ambiolhão will carry out on Estrada Nacional 398.
The affected areas, according to the municipality, are: the center of the parish of Quelfes; Estrada Nacional 398, from Lagoão to the junction for Estrada Municipal 516-3 (near the Joaquim Júlio café); the Municipal Road 516-3 (road from Brancanes to Poço Longo); the area surrounding the Old Bridge of Quelfes; the Urbanization Quinta João de Ourém; the Estrada Nacional 2-6, from the Quinta João de Ourém urbanization area to the “O Lagar” restaurant in Pechão.
"This intervention is important to improve the quality of service provided to consumers, for which the Municipality of Olhão appreciates the better understanding of this situation", according to the Municipality of Olhão, who adds that the choice of the night period to carry out the intervention aims to “avoid major constraints on residents”.
