The 10th edition of the “Sons do Atlântico” festival, with a poster featuring musical genres declared as UNESCO Intangible Heritage, will have shows in Carvoeiro, Senhora da Rocha and Ferragudo, on three weekends in a row: 30 and 31 July , August 6th and 7th and August 13th and 14th.

On the first day (3rd of July), the Sevillian duo Jesus Herrera y su Cuadro Flamenco takes to the stage, in Senhora da Rocha, while on the last day (August 14th) it will be the turn of the “BailArte Flamenco”, in Ferragudo. Both concerts will represent Flamenco.

With regard to Portuguese artists, Kátia Guerreiro and the Orquestra Clássica do Sul, as well as Vitorino and Janita Salomé with Cantadores de Redondo will be the Portuguese representatives. The concerts will take place on the 6th and 13th of August, in Carvoeiro and Ferragudo, respectively, and will represent Fado and Cante Alentejano.

On the 31st of July, Tango, represented by the group La Porteña Tango (Argentina), will take the stage, next to the Nossa Senhora da Rocha Promontory.

For closing, another concert dedicated to Flamenco was reserved, with the second performance at the Festival of the group “BailArte Flamenco”, in Ferragudo.

All concerts at this festival promoted by the Municipality of Lagoa will be at 22:00.
