Until the 30th of September, the cataplana will be the “queen” in the restaurants of Pousadas de Portugal in the Algarve. Seafood, octopus, sea bass, bream, partridge, pork or even vegetarian cataplana are some of the proposals that can be tasted at the inns of Palácio de Estoi, Convento de Tavira and Sagres.
As explained by the Pestana Group, «every day, at lunch and dinner, cataplanas of different flavors are suggested and it is possible to choose some options to share with family or friends».
Each of the inns offers suggestions with indicative prices to share between two people, such as octopus and sweet potato cataplana (€38,50), partridge cataplana (35,00€), pork and clams cataplana (41,00, €30,00), seitan cataplana and vegetable ratatui (XNUMX€).
In the case of the Palácio de Estoi, on Saturdays, a special dinner event is organized, featuring a Buffet Cataplana which, according to the Pestana Group, will be «of such a dimension that it will surprise guests and visitors, both for its appearance and for its taste».
the price of this buffet, which has a gigantic Fish and Seafood Cataplana, it is €35,00 per person with starters, snacks and gazpacho soup, cold salads, duck rice, as an option, and desserts included.
