A Tomi interactive digital platform, which provides useful information to city visitors, has already reached the municipalities of Portimão and Olhão.
Once installed on Faro and Vila Real de Santo António, these equipments, an investment by Canal Algarve, an ACRAL subsidiary, in partnership with TomiWorld, the company from Viseu that developed the technology, have now been installed in the city of Olhão, as well as in Alvor, Mexilhoeira Grande, Praia da Rocha and the city of Portimão.
In the near future, the network of outdoors interactive which provide information to those who visit or reside in the city – what to do, where to go or how to get around – will expand to the municipalities of Lagoa, Lagos and Tavira.
On this device, users can find free local news, the city's cultural agenda, points of interest such as parks or monuments, restaurants and shops, and can also search for everything on the public transport network. You can still take one Selfie on site and share it via email and social media. All this at a touch away.
