A 16-year-old boy died yesterday in Lagos, following a collision between the motorcycle he was riding on and a car, an accident that took place at around 19 pm, at the Gil Eanes School.
The boy became unconscious soon after the impact and was assisted on site by the SIV team from Lagos and VMER from Portimão. The young man was successfully revived several times on the spot and was even transported to the hospital in Portimão, where he was declared dead at around 21 pm.
The 52-year-old woman driving the car had to be released from prison by the Lagos Fire Department and was also transported, with minor injuries, to the Hospital de Portimão.
There was also a psychologist from INEM, who provided assistance to the family of the young man, as well as the PSP of Lagos.
