Seafood Festival 2015_14In 2016, the Seafood Festival in Olhão will have cheaper tickets, with prices between 5 and 8 euros, not giving up on big names in Portuguese music. Áurea (9th), Expensive Soul (10th), Os Azeitonas (11th), C4 Pedro (12th), Camané (13th) and Xutos e Pontapés (14th) will visit Jardim Pescador Olhanense, between 9th and August 14.

The Chamber of Olhão explains that it decided to lower ticket prices «despite considering that the prices charged in previous years were not exaggerated», to make «the Festival accessible to all audiences, making it, increasingly, a space for the family".

Thus, tickets will cost 5 euros, with the exception of the 12th and 14th of August, when they cost 8 euros.

Children up to six years old do not pay admission (must be accompanied by an adult) and for children between 7 and 12 years old, the ticket costs three euros on all days of the event.

As usual, seafood will share the prominence with the music. «Scrapers, spider crabs, lobsters, oysters, prawns, shrimp, clams, clams or cockles make everyone's mouth water, as do the famous seafood açordas, cataplanas, seafood rice or paellas. Everything to enjoy to the sound of the best music», says Câmara de Olhão.

The doors of the enclosure open at 19:30 pm and close at 02:00 am.
