The Social Action technicians from the Silves Chamber are going to travel to the different parishes of the county every month to provide assistance to the public.
This measure by the municipality of Silvense aims to improve the population's access to this service, offering "a faster response to those who are unable to travel to the county seat, in order to expose their problems/needs and request the support deemed necessary in the resolution of their situations', according to the Chamber.
This service will always work during the first full week of each month, in Parish Councils. On the 1st Monday of the month, the service will be provided in São Bartolomeu de Messines, between 10:00 and 13:00. On Tuesdays there are sessions in Algoz (10:00-11:30) and Tunis (11:30-13:00). On Wednesday, the social action technicians from the Silves Chamber will be in São Marcos da Serra (10:00-13:00) and on Thursday in Armação de Pêra (10:00-13:00). On Friday, the towns of Alcantarilha (10:00-11:30) and Pêra (11:30-13:00) are visited.
