The exhibition “Palácio de Espanto, around the Caixa Geral de Depósitos Collection”, curated by Bruno Marchand, opens on May 14, at 16 pm, at Palácio da Galeria – Municipal Museum of Tavira.

This is the first in a series of three exhibitions, which aim to recover lost traces in the visual arts.

«These exhibitions draw the encounter between the three ages of art: its past – through the incorporation in the exhibition of objects from the anthropology, ethnology or archeology museums of the regions (Tavira, Bragança and Castelo Branco); your gift – through a selection of works from the Caixa Geral de Depósitos Collection; and its future – through the invitation addressed to three young Portuguese artists to produce works for this specific context», explains the Museu de Tavira.
