«This children's musical doesn't start with “Once upon a time” and joins the story of Sleeping Beauty to the classic Pinocchio, performed by a young cast, in which the singer Mónica Sintra stars as the fairy Angelica», according to Câmara de Albufeira.

World Children's Day was marked for the first time in 1950 at the initiative of the United Nations, with the aim of drawing attention to the problems facing children. On this day, Member States recognized that all children, regardless of race, color, religion, social origin, country of origin, are entitled to affection, love and understanding, adequate food, medical care, free education, protection from all forms of exploitation and to grow in a climate of Peace and Fraternity.

Later, in 1959, the United Nations (UN) established the principles of the Universal Declaration of the Rights of the Child. Thirty years later, they were an integral part of a treaty that handed them over to International Law, with the adoption of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
