The Political Commissions of the Lagos and Portimão Sections of the PSD will promote, on the 28th and 29th of May, the first sessions of the “Academia do Poder Local”, a training space that will address the various themes related to the exercise of local and which will function as a place for debate and sharing of experiences.
The purpose of this Academy is to “better prepare and train PSD candidates” for the next municipal elections in 2017, with enrollment being open to all militants and supporters of this party, up to a limit of 60 trainees.
The organizers announce that “the initiative will count on the presence of several national and regional figures linked to the party, with experience in government and in the exercise of local power”, namely Carlos Carreiras, in his capacity as National Municipal Coordinator of the PSD.
The Academia Poder Local will take place on the afternoon of the 28th in the Auditorium of the Escola EB 2/3 Tecnopolis and dinner at the Adega da Marina restaurant, in the city of Lagos, while on the 29th it will take place at the Hotel da Rocha, in Portimão.
