This Tuesday there is a simulacrum on the helipad of the Hospital de Faro

If this Tuesday, April 19, between 10:30 am and 12:30 pm, there is a lot of movement of ambulances, fire engines and civil protection in the hospital unit in Faro, do not panic. It is just a simulacrum, a full-scale exercise within the scope of the revalidation of the Heliport Emergency Plan.

The helipad of the Hospital de Faro it is physically installed on top of the outpatient building of the hospital complex.

Thus, warns Centro Hospitalar do Algarve, «the mobilization of resources that may occur should be taken as a mere exercise, under non-real conditions and perfectly controlled by CHAlgarve and other entities involved».
