Algarve for Life _ InvitationTwo volunteers from Ecovillage Tamera, the German Leila Dregger and the Palestinian Aida Shibli, will give their testimony about the work and conditions of refugee camps on the Greek island of Lesbos, during the seminar «Algarve for Life», promoted tomorrow, day 3, by the University of Algarve, on the Campus of Gambelas, Faro.

O seminar, which will start at 17 pm at the Teresa Gamito auditorium and has free admission, will also include the presence of Fernando Ildefonso, Philosophy professor at the Gil Eanes Secondary School, in Lagos, and one of the activists of the «Algarve pela Vida» campaign, who collected and sent to Lesbos a container with donations from the Algarve. the container already arrived at the refugee camp to which it was intended on the 27th.

You will also give your testimony o Syrian student Mohamed Tarek Saied, who studies at the University of Algarve and that the Sul Informação already interviewed exclusively.

After the opening made by the rector António Branco, and the testimonies of the guests, two videos will also be presented, taken by the refugees during their flight and selected by the Tamera volunteers.

The closing will be done by Ana Freitas, vice-rector of UAlg. This university, like the Sul Informação, integrates the Refugee Support Platform.
