The conference “From Outeiro à Plain: the Bronze Age in Beringel” is scheduled for February 5th, at 19 pm, in Beringel (Beja).
This initiative corresponds to the second session of the project “12 Places, 12 Months, 12 Stories – The Bronze Age in the Beja region”, organized by the Municipality of Beja, in partnership with the archeology company Palimpsest, which aims to promote heritage from this period in that county.
The following day, Saturday, February 6th, at 9:00 am, there will be a walking trail “Through earths of clay 3000 years ago: from Outeiro do Circo to Beringel”, passing through some of the Bronze Age places that exist in this parish.
After the tour, the exhibition “The village of Outeiro do Circo: aspects of daily life in the Bronze Age” will be inaugurated at the Beringel Cultural Center, at 12:00 pm, where some artifacts collected in the archaeological excavations carried out at this site will also be shown.
