The Lethes Theatre, in Faro, will be the stage for a new initiative of Versus Tuna – Academic Tuna of the University of Algarve: the “Farothis' 16". The event, which is a gathering of tunas, is scheduled for February 6, at 21:30 pm, with free entry.
In addition to the organizing tuna, the meeting will include Feminis Ferventis – Academic Tuna from the University of Algarve, TUALLE – Tuna Universitária Afonsina de Loulé, Bagatuna – Men's Tuna from the Superior School of Sport of Rio Maior and TASCA – Tuna Académica of Setúbal Beloved City.
According to Versus Tuna, «this event, without a competitive character, will have as stage one of the most iconic points of our city, and will bring together academic tunas from various parts of the country that will offer us an evening full of traditional Portuguese and student music» .
Although the highlight of the event is at night, the presence of the Tunas in Faro will be noticed earlier, since at 16 pm there will be a Pasacalles, in Jardim da Alameda João de Deus, where children from the city will participate.
