A fractured right wrist and mouth injuries were the consequences of the violent fall that the Algarve rider Ruben Faria suffered yesterday, in the final part of the special of the 6th stage of the Dakar2016, forcing him to abandon the test.
According to information provided by his press office, Ruben was "transported by helicopter to the hospital". “Details regarding the seriousness of the injury” are still awaited, to find out “whether Ruben will travel in the next few days, so that all treatments are done in Portugal”.
