The 1st step of the Algarve Surf Circuit 2016 will take place at Praia da Falésia, in Vilamoura, on the weekend of February 6th and 7th.
Approved by the Portuguese Surf Federation, this circuit will improve the hopes of the south, for the national championship, in the following categories: U-12, U-14, U-16, U-18, U-16 for women and U-18 for women . The race also includes sub-10, open and longboard.
This is a stage organized by Quarteira Surf Project, a surf school of the Dinamika Association, in partnership with CIMAV, and also has the support of the Municipality of Loulé and the Parish Council of Quarteira, as well as Ericeira Surf Shop, who will sponsor the awards.
That same weekend, the Vilamoura International Sailing Tournament.
Registration costs 20 euros and must be sent to [email protected] by the 4th of February. Athletes in the official categories must be federated.

O feedback of the most renowned surfers in the Algarve and with excellent results at national level makes us aspire to a Carnival weekend with a lot of level in the water, full of good mood and lots of competition”, says the organization.
